On this page there will be information about our launch campaigns. You can read where they are and how to attend them.
Once or twice a year the NERO organizes a launch day. This launch campaign is held at the artillery range of the Dutch Army in 't Harde near Oldebroek.

The traffic light on the left indicates if a launch campaign is on. It may be cancelled because of weather conditions or otherwise.

This launch campaign is primarily for NERO members. However the campaign can be attended by visitors and participants.

Both visitors and participants do need to register in advance and must be able to identify themselves on the ASK. Participants will only be able to launch their rocket(s) when they meet all the criteria and have paid the admission fees.

NERO reserves the right to refuse entrance to visitors or participants.

The following persons fulfill the corresponding duties:

Registration spectators [Contents] [Top]


Spectators are persons who attend the launch campaign and do not participate in any experiments.

Registration of spectators for the launch campaign needs to be done by filling in the application form and returning it to the facility manager. Spectators are only allowed entry when:

  • they have submitted their registration form at least three weeks before the launch day to the Facilities Manager;
  • they have signed the registration and disclaimer form on arrival;
  • they have paid the admission fee of € 10,- on arrival (for non-NERO members only).

Staying overnight (Thursday to Friday) can be arranged if asked for.

Registration participants rockets and static tests [Contents] [Top]


NERO members are invited by the committee to launch rockets or conduct static tests. Apart from that, we provide guests - on invitation only - the possibility to launch rockets. Participants are persons who attend the launch campaign and do participate in experiments. Participation is on invitation only!

Registration of participants follows the same procedures as registration of spectators. Registration for the launch campaign needs to be done by filling in the application form and return it to the facility manager. Participants are only allowed entry when:

  • they have received an invitation from the Federation;
  • they have submitted their registration form at least three weeks before the launch day to the Facilities Manager;
  • they have signed the registration and disclaimer form on arrival;
  • they have paid the admission fee of  € 10,- on arrival (for non-NERO members only);
  • they have returned all necessary data sheets at least three weeks before the launch day to the RSO;
  • they have paid an admission to the insurance costs for the experiment of € 20,- on arrival.

Staying overnight (Thursday to Friday) can be arranged if asked for.
